Fees & Insurance

We are happy to treat anybody who requires medical assistance, whether you are a private patient or hold a medical card or doctor visit card. We are also happy to see people who have recently moved to Galway or are here on a temporary basis. Visitors from the EU who hold a valid European Health Insurance Card do not have to pay for emergency GP visits during their stay. We offer a student discount for full-time students on production of a valid student card (discount of €10 on most consultations).

Please note, if you have a medical card registered with another GP then this is who you should attend when you need to see a doctor. However if you are away from home or need emergency medical assistance we can treat you. All GMS/DVC or EHIC cards must be valid and presented on arrival.
