Staff Profiles

Staff Our staff at present consists of 2 female doctors, a practice nurse and a receptionist. The doctors are both fully qualified GPs with many years of experience and several extra qualifications relevant to general practice, and our nurse Evelyn Browne has many years experience as a practice nurse in general practice.

Our full-time receptionist Mrs Michelle Kenny is available to deal with your phone queries as well as booking suitable appointments for you. She will liaise with the doctors on your behalf. Dr Sinead Murphy

Dr Sinead Murphy graduated with a Medical degree from NUI Galway in 1998. She undertook formal GP vocational training for a further 3 years and has extra qualifications in the areas of family planning and sexual health. Dr Murphy is currently the Honorary Secretary of the Irish College of General Practitioners. She is also the ICGP representative on the multi-disciplinary committee set up to create guidelines on the management of obesity in Ireland.

Dr Marina Curran

Dr Marina Curran graduated with a Medical degree from NUI Galway in 1998. She undertook formal GP training in Galway and Wales, with additional training in the areas of Womens' Health and sexual health.

Nurse Evelyn Browne

Our practice nurse, Evelyn Browne, is a highly experienced practice nurse, and has been working in General Practice for over twenty years. She has a wealth of extra qualifications in this area, which include:
